Error when updating: need for better error reporting to end-user #32

I tried updating the metadata for the zip file data submission I had issues with earlier. I keep getting an error message when I click the "Save Changes" button. This might have been the source of the patron's issues when trying to upload? image

I'm getting the same error when trying to upload new material.

Leading assumption: encode error with text added. This needs to transition to better error reporting to the end-user. Hard to tell exactly what is happening.

The EPIC label is for working to create a better error message for end-users. Provide a message that will direct work in the correct direction.
