I used eExplorer, then used Terminals View, then switched to away from Eclipse,
when I switched to Eclipse again I got download dialog like that for Internet Explorer for every click on .java files inside Package Manager. I was confused...
When I recalled about eExplorer i was relieved as that was the reason.
please automatically disable file mode when view is not visible,
or better
do not update View when View is not visible
