Fix setuptools error (issue #4) #5

Fixes this issue by changing a line in setuptools to point to a script, not a directory. The notebooks changed due to other activity. The test had an error that I must have missed.

Also:

I relaxed the python version requirement since it was not necessary to pin it.
Now public, I bumped the version to 1.0.0 per https://semver.org/
