Notifications with images not displayed and HTML notifications broken under KDE 4

When testing the notifications from 
http://dangercove.github.com/html5-notifications/, I noticed that only text 
notifications are displayed correctly :

1/ Notifications containing an icon are not displayed. But if I deselect the 
option for displaying images from the parameters window, the notifications get 
displayed (without image of course).

2/ HTML notifications are kind of displayed, but only the path to the HTML file 
is displayed. Not its content.

I'm running KDE 4.9, plugin version 1.0.8 under Firefox 15.
