This is a duplicate of http://inform7.com/mantis/view.php?id=1953 , already reported. However, that bug is marked "resolved", which usually means the fix has been released. There has not been an updated release.
I'll go poke people and see what's going on.

Description :
This was reported in a previous bug (0001953). However, the developer "toby" made a status of resolved/fixed when it is clearly not, as no action was taken to fix the issue.
Not being able to run a story through the Inform interface renders the entire Inform application practically useless. The code may well compile, but without integrated testing one might as well simply use a text editor to write code.
Due to Apple's nagging to update software versions, I would expect a large percentage of Mac owners are already on Sierra, and those that use Inform are unable to use this application any more.
