We recently ran a campaign in Sierra Leone advertising West African English. We noticed in the data that many have US English selected as a language, so we are interested if that many people are changing the language to US English or if they deferred deeplink for West African English is not working as intended.

Does West African English get auto-selected automatically when we install the app from the Play Store when following this ad link?

Our deferred deeplink attached to the ad is:

Bumping this in priority as it affects ALL languages in addition to negatively impacting the user experience if the language isn't pre-selected (there're a lot of languages to scroll through to find your own!).

This now seems to be a similar spot as where we left #877, the install referrer-- we are not getting data that we would expect from Facebook. Are we perhaps handling both of these wrong? Has something changed on the Facebook end that we are not aware of and it's worth a deeper dive into this issue and/or starting from scratch???

Let's talk about it at Sprint Review.
