In the documentation on quay.io there is a typo in the podman pull command:
podman pull
How to use this image To pull the latest version: > podman pull quay.io/curl/curl/curl:8.8.0
To pull the latest version:
> podman pull quay.io/curl/curl/curl:8.8.0
There should be one curl/ less.
