Threat found - action needed #254

im really bad when it comes to computers. around two days ago my window defender had a red x saying action needed and it would show me Detected: Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.H!ml and the affected items was two directories. i copy pasted them into file explorer but then it says it couldnt be found. the actions for remove and quarantine would close the menu and not do anything. allow would make it go away but then it comes back the next day. i have no idea what to do :(

google "windows defender exclude folder" and add the two directories, which are most likely the main location where you keep kanan and download location.

i uninstalled the mods two days ago thinking i messed up the install but it keeps popping up anyway. i tried the exclude folder but it says the file doesnt exist

you should turn off all antivirus's first, put the files where you want them, so that they do exist then exclude the folders before they get quarantined.
