[Bug]: After new update, all BLE devices will not connect. #1064

What happened?

I updated to the latest update for this ble_monitor, now all my ble devices won't connect. Two Yeelight BLE Lamps and AP LED-BLE. I tried to remove them and readd, with no success. I can go through the Yeeligh intergration and scan for the lamps, but after the setup it just says not available. AP LED-BLE, does detect the LEDs at all. I got some logs before I had tried to disconnect and reconnect. Now I'm not able to get anything.

Try a full system reboot (not only HA) first.

Also note that using one Bluetooth adapter for both BLE monitor and another integration that is using active Bluetooth connections is often asking for trouble. A Bluetooth dongle can't operate is passive mode and setting up connections at the same time. I don't see any errors related to BLE monitor, so I don't know what to fix. My first advise is to use two Bluetooth adapters, one for BLE monitor and a different one for yeelight.

Try a full system reboot (not only HA) first.

Ok so I was able to reboot the host and now I'm able to add the integration, but its stuck on initializing.

Try to hit F5 a couple of times to refresh your browser and try again.

The intergration completed after the latest HA update. Now everything is working again.

Sorry I spoke too soon. It showed up, but now it shows as unavailable. And thats just using one integration using the bluetooth adapter. Edit: So I restarted the HAOS and its working again. Im not sure if it stay up or not, but right now it is up

If it doesn’t stay up and there are no errors, it’s probably some range issues. Check the FAQ for some tips, like replacing battery, avoiding WiFi close to the Bluetooth dongle, etc.
