Sensor Description

Smart Bluetooth BBQ Grill Thermometer PWIRBBQ80

Additional information

link to product details, etc.

This device ("best buy" by Cooks Illustrated incidentally) functions perfectly and identifies itself as an Inkbird iBBQ-6. Please add this to the documentation to show that it's a supported device.

I need some ble advertisements to be able to add this, please check https://custom-components.github.io/ble_monitor/sensor_request

Did you maybe misread? It works perfectly, I think you just need to mention that this device works well. I tried following the instructions but I'm not getting any log messages in the logbook; is that because the device is recognized or am I doing something wrong?

Ah, sorry, I misread. Will update the documentation. It will however still be called Inkbird iBBQ 6 in HA, but that shouldn’t be a problem.

Logbook events are only showing event like door opened I guess. It is normal to not have temperature changes in your logbook. It is working fine.

glenviewjeff commented 2 years ago

Yes, that's all I was suggesting, just a documentation change to indicate support so Google searches show this.
