I have contacted the original owner of dEXIF and he give an 'official' go for the conversion to Lazarus/FPC. See copyright.txt
Additionally i have addedf and Q&D Example to use ist, maybe some other samples will follow.
We can discuss more in the german Lazarusforum :-)
