Thanks for your report, but I am confused. The title of your report says that
you updated OS X and your configurations disappeared, but the body of your
report says that you downloaded and installed the latest Tunnelblick and your
configurations disappeared. Which was it?

Please post the output of the following Terminal commands:

ls -l "/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick"
ls -l "/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick/Shared"
ls -l ~/Library/Application\ Support/Tunnelblick/Configurations

The original poster has clarified in a private email that a new Tunnelblick
beta was downloaded and installed and converted OpenVPN configurations. After
that, Tunnelblick could not see the newly converted configurations. The
original poster gave up on Tunnelblick and is using another, unnamed, VPN
client.

This is the first report of this problem (in approximately 40,000 downloads),
so I will ignore it unless someone else has the same problem and is willing to
work with me to find out what the cause is.

The only other thing I can think of that would cause a similar "loss" of
configurations is if the user told Tunnelblick to NOT convert the configuration
files. Although the dialog box says that non-converted configurations will not
be available to use in the new Tunnelblick, that warning is easy to overlook. I
will add a confirmation dialog to make sure the user knows that configurations
will be unavailable if they are not converted. This added confirmation dialog
will be in the next release after 3.3beta52.

I will leave this Issue open for a while so it is highly visible to see if
anyone else has this problem.

Nobody else has complained of this or a similar problem, so I assume my
diagnosis was correct: that the user ignored the warning that Tunnelblick gave
that said that non-converted configurations would not be available.

I am marking this as "Fixed" because in r2370 I added additional confirmation
dialogs to make sure the user understands that if they do not convert
configurations they will not be available. These dialogs are included in
Tunnelblick 3.3beta54 and above.
