When in file path is special character Setzer does not show preview and doesn't show any information what the problem could be. For exemple:

/home/wiktor/Desktop/exercise #4/exercise 4.tex

This should be fixed by #302. @Ethran maybe you can test it on your document path that was causing issues? It fixes the issue for me.
