Bibtex create new entry duplicates some fields

What happens

When using the create new entry wizard in a bibtex file certain fields (date) will be duplicated.

Expected results

Fields are only inserted once.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a bibtex file
2. Press create new entry
3. Switch to software template
4. Enter all the required data

• Generated bib entry contains date twice
• Also note that the author/editor generated field isn't supported by biblatex
