memory leak ?? #401

I report a memory leak with gtk4. Since version 56, the setzer application seems to take up more memory and resources as it is used and compiled, to the point where the mouse pointer freezes

Sorry, I can't really debug this. When the application changes state, it will use more or less memory. There could be many reasons for this.
