Markdown for reporting #2

I'm thinking ahead a bit and I'm wondering if you've written reports with R Markdown before( it's akin to Sweave)? If not, it's super easy to mix text, math/equations (via LaTeX), and functioning code. I can point you to some resources and examples.

I have, but not in a while. My entire thesis was done in LaTeX, but I used R Markdown for class. I'd say I have a basic understanding, but never did anything particularly in depth/sophisticated.

I recall now that you had mentioned this, so you won't have any trouble then. You could peek at the files here to get an idea of the general idea of what I'm thinking about. The .Rmd file is probably most informative at this point.

Glancing over it, I see mostly LaTeX and text, do you usually incorporate code in other ways (images?) or no? I'm very familiar with LaTeX, but less familiar with when R code would be incorporated (outside a homework or teaching context).

Also, let me know if there's anything else you'd like to have done by Thursday.

Well, that's embarrassing. Clearly I didn't recall the details there or look over it closely, as that's a draft and will have code included when it's complete. Here is an example that mixes all of the elements.

I think we're good for now on your side. I'll probably take another look at the summaries you pulled together and start thinking about some avenues forward.

Okay, sounds good! I've got some other things to keep me busy til then.

Also, that link is broken (and I couldn't even see that repo, perhaps there's a typo or it's private?)

It was indeed still set to private. Thanks for catching that, as the paper is currently in review and I had intended to make it public for the benefit of the reviewers (it's public now).
