I'm testing OpenMPI 3.1.4 on Sandia's Vortex system (Power 9, gcc 7.3.1, CUDA 10.2.89)
module list
Currently Loaded Modules:
1) cmake/3.18.0 2) cuda/10.2.89 3) gcc/7.3.1 4) spectrum-mpi/rolling-release
./configure --with-cuda=/usr/tce/packages/cuda/cuda-10.1.243 --prefix=$HOME/software/openmpi3.1.4-cuda10.2.89-gcc7.3.1
Hello!
I had the same problem. my make test
failed 14/15, only type_equivalence passed.
My environment is
1) cuda/11.2 2) OpenMPI/4.1.0 3) gcc/9.1.0 4) cmake/3.22.1
I don't have the Spectrum MPI
. Maybe that's the reason. I wonder if this problem has been solved?Or there is no way without spectrum MPI.
Thanks!
I should revise these instructions, turns out that trying to automatically detect the right way to run all the tests is too hard. You should use ctest -V
to figure out what binaries are being run, and then run them the appropriate way in your MPI environment
