Hi, just wanted to ask whether you guys are aware of https://github.com/fresco-fl2000/fl2000? Idk about this stuff but it looks like it might help you to actually get that driver written? Also, there's someone at https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/309913/usb-hdmi-adapter-detected-only-as-audio-adapter/378729 and someone at https://www.mail-archive.com/linux-usb@vger.kernel.org/msg42844.html who are both looking to get a driver for this little bugger.

Someone pointed me to that recent release by FL, it looks great and will be extremely useful in developing a more complete driver. I seem to always be busy with various other projects, but I do intend to get some work done this within the next month. It's nice to know someone is interested!

I'm sure the whole (linux) world will be interested, as these devices are so affordable, there is hardly any alternative, and it is nice of FL to try to help!
