Replace all the interleave options in the Reorder menu with a "Manual Duplex" option
Generalized "Undo" instead of deinterleave options
The "Manual Duplex" window should have "Reverse order for front sides" and "Reverse order for back sides" options as well as some kind of preview to help the user determine what's correct
Selected vs All option
The Reorder menu should also have something like "Manual Duplex (last settings)" for single-click use
The re-ordering should take page numbers into account (where available) to account for blank page removal (maybe as an option?)
I have a few additional ideas that might complement this feature:
Naming Suggestion: Instead of "Manual Duplex," consider naming this mode "Software Duplex." This name might better convey the idea that the duplexing process is being handled through software rather than hardware.
Integration with Paper Source: It could be beneficial to integrate the "Software Duplex" option into the paper source settings. This way, users can seamlessly switch between hardware and software duplexing based on their needs.
Reordering Flexibility: Allow users to set the reordering preferences in the profile to accommodate how pages are output. This flexibility can help users manage different printer behaviors.
Blank Page Removal: Consider implementing the blank page removal feature after the reordering process. This sequence ensures that any reordering adjustments are made before unnecessary pages are discarded, so the removed pages don't mess up the order.
