Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Since I have a ScanSnap scanner that's not TWAIN compatible, I have to use the ScanSnap software. Luckily, at the very least, it lets me choose a custom application to open with. Meaning, I can set it to NAPS2. The problem is, everytime I scan a document it opens a new window. This is inconvient when creating a single document from multiple pages (scanned separately).
This is just my specific use case. But this can also be replicated easily by just dragging and dropping a file onto the NAPS2 desktop shortcut.
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be nice if NAPS2 could recognize that there is an open window and open new pdfs/images there, not creating a entirely new window. I realize that some users may not prefer this, it could be a toggleable setting.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I can save the file to a folder and use the "Import" feature. Just a bit annoying to do this for every single image I'm trying combine into my document. And leaves unnessary copies of the file on my system that I need to clean up later.
I can also drag the image from the newly opened window to the current one, but this isn't super streamlined as I have to drag the windows around and click "No" when the "Unsaved Changes" prompt appears.
