Test run error. smina_feature/static: cannot execute binary file #1

Hello,

I'm working on Mac catalina. I have followed the instructions but when I try to run the test example using:

python script/runXGB.py test/1e66_wat/1e66_protein.pdb test/1e66_wat/1e66_ligand.mol2 | grep 'XGB'

I get the following error:

/bin/sh: /Users/delta_LinF9_XGB/software/smina_feature: cannot execute binary file /bin/sh: /Users/delta_LinF9_XGB/software/smina.static: cannot execute binary file

The installation of MGLtools was done following this link: https://bioinformaticsreview.com/20220117/tutorial-how-to-install-autodock-vina-on-mac-os/

Any ideas why that would be? Checked the permission as well.

Hi, Unfortunately, this smina_feature only works on Linux system.

Yes, it could be modified to work on Mac systems. But I am not familiar with the Mac library. I could try later, maybe months later.
