Since the PIN is in clear, what should be the best practices? I mean, which errors must we avoid?

How I understood the idea by Licaon is to give some general information about how to save pins, a reference to some explanation on how it works behind the scenes (see README security details) and that kind of things.

thats not a meaningful way to put it in repos. who knows what may happen to the data at link, at least a summary should be shared here...
