Should a mob be trapped in a 1x2 webbing, then be turned into an egg, the webbing above the egg will stay.
This could allow the Alien to trap preys in said web:

Beyond that, they act normally. Once they detect a prey, the egg above fall into the one below, as both release their facehuggers.
I can't lie, this is a hilarious result. But I'm unsure if double eggs are on the menu. :p
