Added Italian translation Modified GeoMeshupSearch class:

object_name is no more hardcoded
added a method to retrieve user data in the loop Added a dropdown to the widget form to chose content type to search for Modified results template to take care of a user search (search in comments only outlined, not yet implemented)

It seems all ok in my test installation of WP 3.3.1 except for one little thing: my .mo file was not the last version (it lacks the "what to search" string and its translation) so I've just committed an update to my master branch with the updated .mo file.
