The Thorndike reference had an extension to refer to the relevant page number. 
In this edit 
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Valentin_Naboth&diff=376270036&oldid=3
74824662 the bot removed that extension, such that henceforth it only directs 
to the frontpage rather than the relevant page
