If we go forward with this, it will have several limitations:
- Doesn't work on fomods because there is ultimately only one ModuleConfig.xml. We could just copy the ammo_fomod folder, but then deleting the conflict winner post-merge shouldn't be automatic.
- Mods being merged should be visible.
- If mods being merged don't have the same install directory, we will have to compensate (or just not allow this).
- Requires an absence of pending changes.
Something like
could be made to stage the files from the chosen mods and create a new mod with those files, then delete the originals.
