Same for me, autofill stopped working.
yeah, me too. Disabling the addon brings back full function of mozilla's password autocomplete.
Same here, I thought it was something wrong with Firefox in new version.
anyone know an alternative to this addon?
nice one :) ty
It will import your Superstart dials too! I think that you need to open new tab after installing it and it will show you that option. I don't remember where in the menu you can do it by yourself.
looks awesome. yeah, i just realized that :) It doesnt allow you to rearrange stuff though right ? cant find any way to do it.
ohh no you can....hold click the one you want to move :) awesome!
The only thing that goes on my nerves is that custom search provider in the search bar! Superstart used google!
ok found a way to change the search engine to google's Open file: \Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxxx\extensions\pavel.sherbakov@gmail.com\chrome\content\include\sd\livesearch.js Search for: const URL = "http://fvdmedia.com/addon_search/?type=instant_search&from=ff_fvdsd&q=%query%"; Change to : const URL = "https://www.google.gr/search?q=%query%";
Search for: var _isSearchOnGoogle = false; Change to: var _isSearchOnGoogle = true;
now search will bring google results :)
Thank you! :)
I've tried all available alternative extensions, and they are terrible. None provides such simple interface with ability to create groups.
FVD Speed Dial looks pretty much the same to me...true its a bit more 'basic' but it gets the job done. I dont know if the developer will update this project anymore...but i really need a 'bookmark home page' and i really need FF to autocomplete my password forms...Till then i think the FVD alternative is enough for now..imho
Awesome, @cyberscorpio, just got and update, works fine on Firefox Nightly 35
While everything was OK with Firefox 32, I started having problems with the stored passwords once I downloaded and tried the Beta of Firefox 32. I have no idea how Superstart interferes with the password functionality, but they did change something in the way Firefox manages passwords. All I know I that disabling Superstart makes things work normal.
