[mobile] Alert snaps in/out instead of fading #2059

This can be reproduced on desktop Chrome using the mobile device toolbar.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start swiping to open the gesture menu.
  2. Cancel the gesture.

Current Behavior

The alert snaps in and out.

Expected Behavior

Fade in and out the alert with a duration of 200ms.
