not recieving notifications #411

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Leaving the client running on the phone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Not getting all notifications

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 0.2.8 Using Ubuntu Maveric

Please provide the log output if possible (from the alogcat app on android,
Show Log menu on the multiplatform client, or Console on native mac app):

Every once in a while, even though the application is running and the IP 
address is correct, the android-notifier application on my Motorola Droid X 
stops sending notifications to my computers. I have tested this by having it 
show the icon in the notification area and having the notifications run a 
script on my computer. 

Please provide any additional information below.

Yes I have the problem too. Samsung Nexus S with Android 2.3.4.
