MarkerClusterer does not refresh count on add or remove marker

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have a marker clusterer with a certain number of markers.
2. Add or remove a marker.
3. Count is not updated until viewport is changed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Count should be updated as add or remove is invoked.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Using dev last version on FF 3.5.

Please provide any additional information below.

I attach a modified version of simple_example.html with two add and remove 
buttons to test it. I also attach a patch with a workaround on the library 
I did to solve the issue until it is fixed in SVN.
