Feature request: improve networking #25

Hi, I understand it's not a priority at the present, but I'll leave it here as placeholder.

It would be useful to improve automation with regard to creating bridged networks. How feasible would it be to borrow the relevant code from virt-manager?

Thanks for opening the feature request. We currently do not have any funding to work on a good bridged networking solution. When we have funding for this, we will implement it in a way that is compatible to stock virtualbox.

Small update on the networking front:

Right now, we cannot work on a nice networking UX with the KVM backend unless we have a legitimate business case. Therefore, we just enabled github-sponsors . If we get sufficient momentum, we would be able to provide a nice networking solution that works identical to vanilla VirtualBox.
