YESSSSS!
Hello! Learned about this during JQuerySF 2015. Interested in learning more and possibly signing up for this.
Hello, that's a great news. is going to be at the same location ?
@aziz-boudi4 Yes, this will be at sudoroom/the omni like before.
:+1:
Yo I'd love to teach or run a guest workshop or talk or something. Anyone in particular I should talk to about that? (@substack?)
EDIT: WHOOPS just found https://github.com/cyberwizardinstitute/course-map/wiki/volunteer; think that'll do me.
Thank the JSGods for this opportunity! ;)
By the way, will there be a detailed schedule posted? There may be a of couple days that I can't make it due to a business trip in August.
Hey, how do folks sign up? I'm with a potential attendee right now :) @anwaario
Tell them to show up at sudoroom on August 1 (or any other day that cyberwizard is running). There isn't any real reason for us to have a sign-up procedure. The main reason is to answer questions people have.
Maybe folks who are new to github or to http://cyber.wizard.institute can simply:
That sounds good! Perhaps we should have a separate hello issue?
Hey. I'm sooooo down. I'm there at 1500. Yee!
Looking to join this study group, see you all soon! Any preparation or pre-work prior to the start the program?
@ctvue I believe the lectures from the previous round are available here: https://github.com/cyberwizardinstitute/workshops
Super cool. At this place? https://sudoroom.org/. I'll be there.
@ctvue If you want to get a head start, you can install linux if you've only got windows (but Mac OSX will work fine). Otherwise, you can browse the workshops like @wrought recommends. I think unix, html, and javascript are good places to start.
@wrought I'm on a roll. I'm not going to make it tonight. will be there Thursday night tho.
@anwaario Nice, do it! If you're interested in sudo room membership but you can't attend, you can also submit your "Intent to Join" without showing up in person if necessary: https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Articles_of_Association#Section_2.1.0_Process_for_becoming_a_member
However, the point of this step in the process is just to say hi and get to know people and see what our process is like and how we make decisions, etc. We all share the responsibilities of tending to our community's and space's needs, which is what membership is all about -- access and interdependence. So, if you want to make it to the next meeting instead, that works too.
If at any time you want to share any information about yourself or say Hi, I think sending a message to our "sudo-discuss" email list https://sudoroom.org/lists/listinfo/sudo-discuss or on the #sudoroom freenode IRC channel are good ways to start to get to know people.

@substack I can't make it this weekend, the start of the class, but I will be there Monday. What time will you start? Is there a calendar posted? Thanks.
I've updated the calendar: http://cyber.wizard.institute/calendar.html
Hi guys. What time zone are you working with?
Mark your calendars! Cyberwizard institute is coming back this August! Join us for a nighttime and weekends edition. Current plan: starts August 1st (Saturday) at 15:00 and goes through Aug 15.
This time, we'll start later on the weekdays so that people can drop in after work and also have content on weekends in the afternoon.
