@cyberzed Greetings! I just started using opbeat for some nodejs projects with hapi in production, and it has worked just fine so far! :) So I was checking out for solutions to implement opbeat monitoring to my asp.net web api in production, and found your nuget, but now wonder why it seems like abandoned? Is there a better solution out there?

If you need a hand on the project, please let me know, I can help ;)

Thanks!

@edwin-rodriguez The only reason for everything being at a hold right now is me being busy, as it looks right now I should start getting more time within a week or two. I think it would be best if I sum up my ideas in the wiki or somewhere else to have a better start of a discussion where this could go 😄 As far as I know (neither according to the guys behind opbeat) there have been no one else implementing opbeat with .NET

@edwin-rodriguez just for info...have a schedule that is starting to look way better so I expect to pick up speed again...do you have the intent to use it in combination with a logging framework like Serilog, NLog or anything like it?

nickelbob commented 6 years ago

I can't speak for @edwin-rodriguez but I think a serilog integration would be awesome. Let me know if you need any help.

edwin-rodriguez commented 6 years ago

@cyberzed no special integrations so far, only opbeat data pushing :) Let me know if you need a hand! Thanks!

@nickelbob @edwin-rodriguez just got the email that Opbeat is sunsetting from May 2018 so in my opinion I would sunset any further development of this 😢

@cyberzed oh wow! I didn't expect that! what a shame.. well, yeah I totally agree with you, continuing this project doesn't make sense.

Glad to had the chance to meet you though! Hope we can work on any other community project!
