The module loading is done automatically with /etc/init.d/webcamstudio. You
should have a few link in rc2.d ,rc3.d., etc...
If that does not happen, something is wrong or not adapted to Mint. See if
those links were installed from the debian package...

this is what i got from command line, also i have installed first the old
webcamstudio on the repositories then installed the deb over it

It should work as everything is in place... Will have to investigate if Mint
is missing a starting script...
Could you have a look in the kernel log or message logs to see if the script is
executed when booting up?

This issue should be fixed in latest SVN r443
Please test and provide feedback...
The deb packages are in our daily builds PPA....
