I have substituted the real details for USER and THEIR-DOMAIN. The domain is not gmail.

Not 100% sure if this is us or an intermediate forwarding arrangement complaining. Mythic Beasts may be able to advise us.

It is a problem so should not be closed. Haven't investigated to what extent this is something we need to fix at domain level, network level, deployment level, or code level. If you can find out, great!

We have recently:

Added an SPF record for IPv4
Added a PTR record

but this is still happening.

I'm checking about IPv6 changes for SPF.
