Private message flag gone? #989

If you got a private message it used to show a red (?) flag next to the envelope icon in the grey box at the top of the page. No more, and not for a while.

Still happening. I just got a PM and noticed (as I have been suspecting but wanted to check) that there is no alert in the header/tool bar. The envelope icon used to show a red 1 (iirc) next to it in the past. It's a small thing but I also wonder if that envelope could be removed and the private message thread given anther colour? Just an idea. Not to worry if that's not in your plan.
