I wouldn't have thought there would be something the team at Polr would be able to do to prevent someone abusing the system that they have self-hosted. I know it is tricky, however, the saying goes, only open sites you trust.
Since Polr is open source software, we have no control over how individual users use the software.
This is an overall issue with this software where I identified mass spam text messages registering domains and self-hosting this software. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this?
