I have reviewed the Google Analytics 4 settings and configuration. Please see this docs for the updated description with my modifications.
Highlights and findings:
At present, we do not employ Google Signals or Google Ads. Moreover, for 29 countries that have accepted GDPR or similar regulations, we have disabled detailed location and device tracking to ensure that our cookie information banner and privacy policy comply. However we may have to change the information banner to a banner that takes consent if we extend our usage of Google Analytics in the future.
The docs lists the accounts that can access Google Analytics and individual services. In my opinion it is important to regularly update the list to ensure its relevance.
Finally, it is crucial to address our limited metrics, as we currently only measure basic events. We currently lac any conversions or custom events. Suggestion for example conversions and events can be found at EOSC User Activity docs. Incorporating these proposal along with the team's experience and expertise can result in the creation of valuable and captivating metrics.
