Can you add a couple of "dummy" clients and try to change those? I cannot
reproduce
this on XP or Win7 using 0.4.8.121.

Added a client now and tested. The issue didn't happen again.

At the time I created this issue Windows Explorer wasn't working properly: I
couldn't
access the files from my virtual machine in the network share. When I closed and
reopened hfm-net the client MHz was already changed to the value I wanted
(3990). So
it looks like this issue is somehow related to a crash on Windows or vmware that
makes it impossible to access hosts in the local network.

Extra info: I think Windows Explorer starts misbehaviouring when I open fahmon
(not
hfm-net) before starting vmware. Sometimes when I do that fahmon gets stuck in
task
manager after I close it. Rarely other programs also get stuck when I run them.
