HFM worked for several months and now fails on start #187

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Open HFM, fails immediately

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I get the following details from the default OS failure dialog:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

HFM: 0.4.8, 0.4.9, and 0.4.10
OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64b (pretty vanilla install) running on an i7 920

Please provide any additional information below.

This happened with last version AND new version.  Have done complete 
uninstall/reinstall, and have deleted all registry keys and the data 
folder in AppData\Roaming.

Ooops, I posted this without seeing others had the same problem, and am posting 
my 
fix there.  Consider my entry closed.
