Is the voiD Guide a tutorial or a reference document?

There are major differences in the tone between different sections.

Much of the stuff I wrote sounds like a technical specification. Much of the 
stuff Michael wrote sounds like an informal tutorial.

We should clarify what tone we want, and unify it a bit across the document.

IMO it's a technical spec. Where this is not the case it should be changed. Can 
you be more specific please? ... 'much of the stuff Michael wrote' does not 
really help ;)

Note that I labeled this with MR2 as it is a no-brainer IMO that we need to 
clarify this ASAP.

Section 1.1 especially, and to a lesser degree some bits and pieces throughout 
Section 2 (starting with its first sentence!)

In today's telecon we agreed that it's a technical document that tells people 
how to use all the parts of void.
