Maybe some separators / decorative elements can be used to make it more readable for the user?

Adding line dividers or blank lines would mean less can fit on the screen at a time so we opted not to use them

Reason for disagreement: What is the justification of wanting to fit more on the screen? There is more value to having greater readability of the UI, rather than to fitting more in the screen. Scrolling is faster and more efficient for users, as compared to having to manually differentiate between the user input and the program output. In the screenshot originally provided, it is hard to efficiently tell when each feature usage starts and ends.
