We need a standardised measure for characterising the quality of case study (and other) sites for cycling.

There are various things that could go into this. We can start simple and add more factors as we see fit:

journey time statistics such as our employment index and our overall index of accessibility (both derived from the journey time statistics)
distance to key destinations e.g. nearest rail station, nearest town centre
busyness of the routes to key destinations / workplaces
circuity of the routes
ratio of cycle time to driving time
