Sync performance #1

Use a proper sync and not a full resync at each edit.

Full resync should be ok now, merlin tries to optimize as possible. Of course, if you still feel slowness, it is an issue.

Wonderful! I haven't tried with very large ML files, and it was not an issue for regular ones.
