I thought it was just me. I too noticed that after you beat the large rat in
the cave the rest of the game isn't ready yet. You cant go into the s cave or
follow paths to the other towns or go down the stairs with the very hard ants.
Either way The play has a classic feel to it and I like it alot. Nice job.
I just downloaded the game two days ago for my Droid X.

You are both correct. Most of the maps are not done yet. A lot of work is
required to draw the maps, and create the quests that should follow them.
However, the good news is that both the the south cave (south of the smithy)
and the cave system below the ant hole are done. They are not yet published
though, but development on them is done, and have their corresponding quests.
We just need to finish work on the new town before we can publish the updated
version to Android Market.
Soon :)

I also had this question.
Is it possible to backup the currently achieved state?

Yes, you will be able to upgrade without losing your character, stats or
inventory.
Regarding backup up the achieved state, it is theoretically possible, but
really hard to do. The savegame gets written to a file called "savegame",
placed on internal storage. The internal storage is not easily accessible
though. If you somehow can extract that file, then yes, that's the backup.
Maybe we should look into saving the savegame to SD card instead, to make it
easier for the user to backup the savegame? I should do some tests on that.

I think using 5 slots for savegames in the folder
"sdcard\andors-trail\savegame[1-5]" would be really nice.

Perhaps you should make it more obvious that its a beta. Just mark all
currently dead ends with a sign: This area is currently undone. Come back at a
later version. This should make it clear for all users.
