I can add this glyph. You will need to self-host the updated font before it gets onboarded.
Can you provide more information on the use of pre-1945 orthography in Bulgaria — how widespread is it?
Now pre-1945 Bulgarian orthography is used regularly in several websites and FB pages only. Also, can be found in many old books (original and phototype editions, e-books or printed). As quoted text, can be found in educational books (historical, linguistic etc.) Gramatically or phonetic, there are no significant differences with contemporary Bulgarian script. About syntax, letters Ѣ and Ѫ are used at their specific places, now Ѣ is replaced with E or Я, and Ѫ is replaced with Ъ. The use of Ъ and Ь at the end of the words now is abolished, for example, the word ХЛѢБЪ now is written as ХЛЯБ.
You can download the fresh release and self-host the font from here: https://github.com/cyrealtype/Lora-Cyrillic/releases/tag/v3.005
Thanks, I have installed new 3.005 version :)
Hello,
I'm using Lora font in my forum. We use particularly traditional Bulgarian script, which was official in Bulgaria until 1945. This script includes letters Ѣ, Ѫ and Ѭ. The letter Ѭ was used until 1899, 1899-1945 was replaced with digraph ЙѪ, and after 1945 - with digraph ЙЪ Sometimes, we use the letter Ѭ in our forum. The Lora font includes letters Ѣ and Ѫ, but not Ѭ Now this letter Ѭ in our forum is loaded by alternate font "Palatino Linotype" Adding of this letter may be useful for linguistic scientists when old Bulgarian text is typed or quoted.
I would ask you, if possible, to add this letter in the future into your cyrillic font glyphs.
