Thank you very much I like your idea of removing internet from wps office, Can you post this version on appcenter of elementary os also, Also Is there any feature that requires internet on wps office to work except for the sync?

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look at elementary is store. Better I finish working on the 2019 version, just released, first.

To answer your question, the sync to cloud version (2019) and the language download (2016 and 2019) requires internet. The language is taken care of in my package because I download the languages for you before packaging it.

We have been doing a little of forensic on wps and the software seems quite talkative. But it is the best office on linux so i can't just skip that. Better to insulate it from the internet and loose the cloud function in the process. I have been using firejail first, but this was not satisfying me. So I switched to snap.
