ucd snmp's master agent will leak kilobytes of memory every time i do an snmpwalk on the subagent's mib range.
working with the ucd folks to try to improve the situation; i actually don't think it's a terribly deep bug and it's something their aware of.
however, we can't deploy master/snmp instrumentation with it in it's current state.

appears they just checked in a patch. i've verified that it's no longer leaking memory anything like it was, but i don't know if it's leaking memory slowly.
appears that their perl SNMP package is broken now.

the latest version of ucd snmp (4.2) fixed this and we're working happily now.
chaskiel is now working on ucd snmp.
