Tried to copy and paste a Player's character sheet into a custom stat block, and killed my account #2317

After copying and pasting a statblock into a dummy icon in my custom creatures, my account across all my campaigns started showing this error.

Edit, loaded in opera, and it was operating without my tokens, is there anyway just to get rid of the problem token?

How much is loaded before/after this error happens? This is trying to send the journal and stat block to other players. If the token menu has loaded you should be able to just delete the token/stat block on it. If not removing it will be harder.

I'll look into why this would be happening as well.

Just manually forced this error. Pasting this in the console tab of the dev tools should show the token panel. This should allow you to remove the stat block on the offending token.

Open the dev tools (generally f12) -> click console tab -> scroll to the bottom where > is click in beside it and paste the below -> hit enter.

From what I can tell this might be due to what you pasted being somehow over 128000 characters (including html stuff that you don't see in the editor). I'll look at resolving this issue. I suspect it's this over it being the journal itself being too large due to it breaking all campaigns.

I believe this issue should be resolved in beta now (available on discord). It might still not be able to send that stat block to players if the message size is too large but it shouldn't error in the same way preventing loading.

Edit: looks like github has a partial outage on github actions so it may be a bit before the checks are run and beta pushed. https://www.githubstatus.com/
