Suddenly I cannot access MySQL from HeidiSQL (or other external db tools). The devilbox intranet works, i can access the db through phpmyadmin, I can access MySQL CLI via the php container and root with no password, my wordpress site works... I can also connect to redis remotely with Redis Insight. etc... MySQL is fine.
The only information I can provide about "what happened" is that I was step debugging a wordpress request, and then VS Code crashed. A variety of issues followed, so I decided to just wipe all the Docker Images, Containers, Volumes, Cache etc..., recreate them and re-create the WordPress webapp with a backup that I took yesterday. I would have figured that this would solve the problem, but it persists...
Things I've tried:
add bind-address = 0.0.0.0 and skip-grant-tables to the devilbox/cfg/mariadb-10.6/devilbox-custom.cnf file
added a new user and db, and can connect to/use those just fine within Devilbox etc...
FLUSH_PRIVILEGES from mysql within the php container
HeidiSQL works fine with other remote DBs, and nothing changed with its configuration.
Expected behaviour
To be able to connect to mysql remotely
How can we reproduce the bug?
No clue

I cleared all the docker stuff again, restarted windows multiple times and various other things and now I can connect again. Strange that those things didn't work previously.

What went wrong?
Suddenly I cannot access MySQL from HeidiSQL (or other external db tools). The devilbox intranet works, i can access the db through phpmyadmin, I can access MySQL CLI via the php container and
root
with no password, my wordpress site works...
Things I've tried:
bind-address = 0.0.0.0
andskip-grant-tables
to thedevilbox/cfg/mariadb-10.6/devilbox-custom.cnf
fileFLUSH_PRIVILEGES
from mysql within the php containerExpected behaviour
To be able to connect to mysql remotely
